Essential oils can help with many different aspects of life. Hyperactivity effects many people daily, and for some, essential oils offer a remedy for some of their symptoms. This fabulous Calm Way Down blend is a great blend of oils targeted at the symptoms of hyperactivity.
Calm Way Down Blend
20 Drops Vetiver Essential Oil
12 Drops Sandalwood or Cedarwood Essential Oils
10 Drops Patchiouli Essential Oil
10 Drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
10 Drops Rose or Geranium Essential Oil
In a 1/6 oz (5ml)dark glass bottle, combined the oils. Shake to blend. Store in a cool dark place.

In a 4oz (125 ml) spray bottle, add 30 drops and fill with water. Spray into air above the child or have them walk through the falling mist. Spritz on pillow and bedding at bedtime.
Combine 2 to 6 drops (as age-appropriate) of your Calm Way Down Blend to 1 tsp carrier oil (Such as coconut oil) or 1 tsp coconut milk and disperse oil. Agitate water to disperse oil thoroughly. Soak for 20 minutes. Massage any floating oil into the skin,
Add 3 to 5 drops of Calm way Down Blend to a diffuser. Diffuse for 20 minutes before bed, or in the morning as they get dressed.
Combine 2 tsp (10 ml) carrier oil and 2 to 6 drops ( as age-appropriate) of the CWDB. Mix well and massage over child’s body.
TIP: Use Passion flower-infused oil for a more potent treatment. This oil is a neurosedative and antispasmodic, which helps to alleviate extreme agitation and anxiety.
In a dark colored 1/3 oz (10 ml) glass roll on bottle, combine 15 drops CWDB and fractionated coconut oil to top up. Shake to blend. Roll onto temples, wrists and collarbones, as needed.
Use one or a combination of treatment methods as needed. This Calm Way Down Blend may just become a new essential. Hope you’ve been inspired.
