Lavender & Rosemary Soak

Both lavender and rosemary essential oils promote muscle relaxation, soothing the spasms that often contribute to back pain. Some other essential oils to try in a bath include ginger and roman chamomile.
1. In a small glass bowl, combine the carrier oil and essential oils and stir to combine.
2. Draw a warm bath and add the entire treatment to the running water.
3. Soak at least 15 minutes. Use cation when getting out of the bath as it may be slippery!
4. Repeat the treatment once a day as needed.
Soothing Backache Massage Blend

Rosemary, sage and thyme essential oils are rich in carvacrol and thymol, two natural compounds that air in muscle relaxation; lavender and roman chamomile enhance this relaxing blend and the ginger acts as a natural analgesic.
In a dark-colored glass bottle, add the carrier oil and essential oils; shake well to blend.
Draw a warm bath and add 4 to 6 drops of the blend to a bath and soak for 15 minutes; for added backache relief!
Apply 4 to 6 drops to your hand (or a helpers hand!) and massage into your soar back.
Repeat as needed. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place between uses.
